Championing Every Child's Right to Learn

Gaibandha, Bangladesh | Championing Every Child's Right to Learn - Dynamic Shifters | 2025

Nomoskar!

We are the Dynamic Shifters, a youth-led group committed to ensuring every child in Gaibandha receives quality education. In 2025, we launched our campaign to address limited access to quality education, particularly during disasters when children's learning is most at risk. We want to motivate children and parents while sensitising teachers and education officials to ensure no child is left behind in their educational journey.

The Right-Sized Problem

In Gaibandha, many children face barriers to quality education, with awareness gaps among parents, children, and duty bearers about the importance of education. Disaster-prone conditions further disrupt learning, while limited parental engagement and weak monitoring systems allow children to fall through the cracks.

What We Did

Over eight months, we combined community engagement, entertainment, and educational messaging to reach thousands across 10 unions in Gaibandha.

Offline Impact

  • Campaign Inauguration – Launched with participation from government and NGO officials at upazila and district levels, highlighting campaign objectives, work plans, and expected roles.

  • Courtyard Meetings – Conducted 21 meetings across 10 unions, engaging parents and community members in intimate settings about the importance of education.

  • School-Based Events – Engaged 54 schools with awareness activities, reaching students directly in their learning environments.

  • Street Drama – Used Theatre for Development to bring educational messages to life through compelling performances that resonated with communities.

  • Road Shows – Organized impactful awareness activities in 10 villages, combining colorful visuals and youth advocacy to create positive atmosphere

  • Education Olympiad – Hosted competitive educational event celebrating learning and motivating students to excel in their studies.

Online & Media Impact

  • Social Media Engagement – Reached 350,000 people through educational posts throughout November and December, amplifying campaign messages across digital platforms.

  • Print Media Coverage – Featured in national and local newspapers, bringing visibility to youth-led educational advocacy.
