GLOBAL REPORT 2025 🚀
“IN 2025, WHEN THE WORLD LOOKED AWAY, YOUNG PEOPLE LOOKED TO EACH OTHER AND GOT TO WORK.”
Some took on child marriage. Others went after plastic waste, verbal violence, child labor, or the boys-only culture of STEM. They came from fishing villages in Vietnam, mountain towns in Bhutan, rural Zambia, urban Bangladesh, the highlands of Bolivia.
Together they reached over one million people.
This is what they did.

They went where the power was.
They started with what scared them.
They timed it right.
They made it stay.
They surprised everyone, including themselves.
In numbers
(CALLOUT STAT 1) SHIFT continues to be majority female-led!
(CALLOUT STAT 2) Over a million people reached! (but that’s only based on ¼ of the campaigns)
(CALLOUT STAT 3) Half of all 2025 SHIFT campaigns tackled protection issues from verbal violence and child marriage to child labour and disability rights.
"SHIFT is more than a project; it is a warm family that taught me to master my emotions and gave me the stage to prove my worth. I am proud to say I am becoming the best version of myself, and SHIFT will forever be the most beautiful part of my high school years."
